Subnautica 2is an underwater survival adventure by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. Set on Luca — a new alien ocean moon — the game follows a Pioneer stranded at sea after the CICADA colony ship malfunctions. Unlike its predecessors, Subnautica 2 supports co-op for up to 4 players in a shared persistent world. A brand-new DNA Modification system lets you scan creatures and apply their biological traits to your Pioneer, adding a deep progression layer on top of the classic survival loop.

Subnautica 2 is a first-person survival game on an alien ocean world. The core loop — gather resources, craft tools, build a base, explore deeper — is familiar from the original, but every system has been rebuilt for co-op play.
The co-op systemlets four Pioneers share one world simultaneously. Proximity inventory sharing means you can craft directly from a teammate's locker while standing nearby — coordinated team runs into dangerous biomes become dramatically more efficient.
